New Restaurant in Chula Vista Showcases Artificial Boxwood Hedge

The Savoie restaurant in the Otay Ranch Town Center recently opened with a brand new look and it is impressive to say the least. The first impression is disbelief that such an awe inspiring eatery could be in a suburban strip mall. Reviewers on Yelp likened the restaurant to places in Las Vegas and New York. I agree.

Geranium Street Floral of San Marcos supplied and installed the artificial boxwood hedge that you see throughout the restaurant. You see the artificial hedge immediately as you enter the restaurant as it adorns the hostess stand and the wall behind it. The adjoining bar is also trimmed with artificial boxwood hedge and the wall behind the bar also is.

The walls in the dining area and above the booths also have artificial boxwood. The restrooms are truly unique and the men’s restroom is trimmed with artificial boxwood hedge. Combined with the unique statuary throughout the restaurant, the artificial hedge adds a bit of green and sophistication.

The VIP party room is decorated with artificial aspen boughs and looks fantastic. The main dining room has several large artificial moss balls hanging from the ceiling. If the food is as good as the décor, this place should be rocking the thriving Eastlake neighborhood of San Diego in no time. It will surely be a date location and a place for special occasions. Some of the large party tables can seat parties as large as 30 people.

The patio area has fire pits and large party tables as well. The exterior of the restaurant is adorned with all kinds of California native succulent plants. This restaurant is truly a work of art inside and out. It is a must see when visiting San Diego. The menu is French/Italian fusion and what a great combination. They have many great specialty drinks on the bar menu as well, and an extensive wine list.
