Faux Boxwood Balls Decorate San Diego Fashion Event

Faux Boxwood Balls designed by Geranium Street Floral of San Marcos were used by the Birds of a Feather Fashion show and luncheon to benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County. The event was put on at the beautiful Jolla Hilton at Torrey Pines. Geranium Street Floral donated six unique artificial boxwood topiary balls on spires to line the fashion show runway.

That was just one use for faux boxwood balls among many. Customers all over the United States are calling Geranium Street Floral to order artificial topiary balls for their gardens, their decks, courtyards, balconies and as decorative items inside their houses. The company sells faux boxwood balls that are UV rated and can be placed outside, or non UV rated that can be used indoors.

Faux boxwood balls are used for a variety of reasons at events, such as centerpieces at weddings, or in conjunction with faux boxwood hedges. In the case of the fashion show at San Diego, six faux boxwood balls complimented the runway and the models perfectly. They added that extra bit of class and atmosphere to an otherwise boring conference room. They are transportable and reusable for event after event.

Artificial Ivy Fence Privacy Screen among Closeout Items from Geranium Street Floral

Artificial ivy privacy screen is one of the items that Geranium Street Floral has placed into their clearance section. A few of the products, although excellent in quality, did not sell as well as anticipated and the company is closing them out at rock bottom prices. Also included in the clearance is artificial bamboo privacy screen, PVC privacy screen, and assorted colors of artificial ruffle brush.

In this age of privacy concerns, people want to maintain what little privacy they have left. That is why the artificial ivy, artificial bamboo, or PVC privacy screens can help block out prying eyes from backyards, balconies, decks and verandas. The artificial plants look like the real thing, and the PVC privacy screen is the classic privacy material that is easy to install.

Faux bamboo is incredibly realistic looking and much easier to maintain. The faux bamboo privacy roll is easy to install on any chain link, wrought iron, or wood slat fence. It can even be used to extend the height of a fence to keep outsiders from easily viewing in. People may not have anything to hide, but they don’t want unknown gawkers looking into their balconies, yards, and pool areas.

is also realistic looking, UV protected and perfect for use on fences, walls, balconies, or in offices. Many commercial designers are using artificial plants because they look good and require no water or maintenance. Geranium Street can’t believe that the artificial ivy rolls didn’t sell like hot cakes, but are now selling them out at fantastic prices.

Speaking of interior design, Geranium Street Floral is also offering a very classy artificial bamboo topiary in a black fiberglass vase at a clearance price. This item would look great in an office, a restaurant, a retail space, or home. They also have assorted colors of artificial ruffle brush that can be used for countless decorative applications. I dare anybody to tell if this amazing ruffle brush is not real from a few feet away.

Faux Boxwood Topiaries Make a Nice Addition to Exterior and Interior Décor

Faux boxwood topiaries include artificial topiary balls, bushes, trees, and other artificial topiaries. The word faux defined is – made in imitation, artificial. Faux plants and topiaries are artificial but they are manufactured so well that they actually look real. Many times, people have to reach out and touch these new artificial plants to make sure they aren’t real.

New manufacturing processes have made artificial plants UV resistant so that they don’t fade in direct sunlight. Artificial hedges are also available with a fire resistant rating and that is especially important as people in arid areas of southern California prepare for fire season. Faux topiaries, hedges, and bushes are a safe alternative to real plants in fire country.

Interior designers are buying up the faux boxwood topiaries like hot cakes. Artificial boxwood balls look great in reception areas in offices, hotel lobbies, and restaurants. Artificial topiaries look great next to fountains, in hallways, foyers, and near staircases. A pair of faux boxwood topiary balls placed at the entrance to a home add a regal touch, no doubt.

Fake boxwood topiaries also look great when placed within exterior landscapes. They can be placed among real plants and flowers, or in rock gardens, making them almost indistinguishable from real plants. Many people are placing them on balconies, verandas, and sun decks. In almost every case, the faux boxwood topiaries make great conversation pieces.

Geranium Street Floral has a whole line of artificial boxwood topiary balls in different sizes and colors. They also have artificial boxwood bushes in various sizes, and a variety of artificial boxwood hedge mats. They have custom designed several large projects throughout California and Las Vegas. Some of the hippest new hotels and restaurants are using faux boxwood topiaries as key elements in their designs. Watch the video above to an example of how faux topiaries are used in a restaurant design.

Wicker is made from woven fiber that is then formed into a study material. Wicker has been used to make furniture and decorative items since ancient Egypt. It was popular among the Pharaohs and upper society of the ancient Egyptians. It made its way through the centuries to ancient Rome and to Medieval England. It was later imported into America during colonial times. Wicker has always been equated with class and style.

Wicker was traditionally made from natural materials such as reeds and indigenous plants. Currently, natural wicker is still available, though much more expensive than the newer synthetic wicker. Synthetic wicker is made from strands of synthetic material and is very sturdy. Wicker, natural or synthetic will last forever with very little maintenance, and is often used for patio and deck furniture.

Faux topiaries and bushes are becoming quite popular in the design world. Artificial topiary balls can be placed at an entrance or in an empty corner and they look classy without being overbearing. The faux boxwood balls look fantastic in a wicker vase, or pot.

Geranium Street Floral has a new selection of wicker pots, vases, and baskets to go along with their array of artificial boxwood balls and artificial boxwood bushes. They have various colors from black, to dark brown, white, red, and tan. The Savoie restaurant in the Otay Ranch Town Center recently opened with a brand new look and it is impressive to say the least. The first impression is disbelief that such an awe inspiring eatery could be in a suburban strip mall. Reviewers on Yelp likened the restaurant to places in Las Vegas and New York. I agree.
