Faux Boxwood Topiaries Make a Nice Addition to Exterior and Interior Décor

Faux boxwood topiaries include artificial topiary balls, bushes, trees, and other artificial topiaries. The word faux defined is – made in imitation, artificial. Faux plants and topiaries are artificial but they are manufactured so well that they actually look real. Many times, people have to reach out and touch these new artificial plants to make sure they aren’t real.

New manufacturing processes have made artificial plants UV resistant so that they don’t fade in direct sunlight. Artificial hedges are also available with a fire resistant rating and that is especially important as people in arid areas of southern California prepare for fire season. Faux topiaries, hedges, and bushes are a safe alternative to real plants in fire country.

Interior designers are buying up the faux boxwood topiaries like hot cakes. Artificial boxwood balls look great in reception areas in offices, hotel lobbies, and restaurants. Artificial topiaries look great next to fountains, in hallways, foyers, and near staircases. A pair of faux boxwood topiary balls placed at the entrance to a home add a regal touch, no doubt.

Fake boxwood topiaries also look great when placed within exterior landscapes. They can be placed among real plants and flowers, or in rock gardens, making them almost indistinguishable from real plants. Many people are placing them on balconies, verandas, and sun decks. In almost every case, the faux boxwood topiaries make great conversation pieces.

Geranium Street Floral has a whole line of artificial boxwood topiary balls in different sizes and colors. They also have artificial boxwood bushes in various sizes, and a variety of artificial boxwood hedge mats. They have custom designed several large projects throughout California and Las Vegas. Some of the hippest new hotels and restaurants are using faux boxwood topiaries as key elements in their designs. Watch the video above to an example of how faux topiaries are used in a restaurant design.

Wicker is made from woven fiber that is then formed into a study material. Wicker has been used to make furniture and decorative items since ancient Egypt. It was popular among the Pharaohs and upper society of the ancient Egyptians. It made its way through the centuries to ancient Rome and to Medieval England. It was later imported into America during colonial times. Wicker has always been equated with class and style.

Wicker was traditionally made from natural materials such as reeds and indigenous plants. Currently, natural wicker is still available, though much more expensive than the newer synthetic wicker. Synthetic wicker is made from strands of synthetic material and is very sturdy. Wicker, natural or synthetic will last forever with very little maintenance, and is often used for patio and deck furniture.

Faux topiaries and bushes are becoming quite popular in the design world. Artificial topiary balls can be placed at an entrance or in an empty corner and they look classy without being overbearing. The faux boxwood balls look fantastic in a wicker vase, or pot.

Geranium Street Floral has a new selection of wicker pots, vases, and baskets to go along with their array of artificial boxwood balls and artificial boxwood bushes. They have various colors from black, to dark brown, white, red, and tan. The wicker vases, matched with artificial boxwood plants of varying sizes makes for that special interior or exterior design piece.
